The Korntex Children's Safety Poncho is specially designed to provide children with increased visibility and safety. Thanks to its innovative safety concept, this children's safety poncho is ideal for walking to school, kindergarten, excursions, leisure activities, and many other everyday situations.
The special highlight is the integrated safety fastener: When pulled, the safety buckles open automatically and the poncho detaches from the body. This can reduce the risk of injury if children get caught on fences, playground equipment, sleds, or other objects.
For optimal recognizability, it features the 360° reflective strips, significantly improving visibility at dusk, in darkness, and in poor weather conditions. Thus, the safety poncho is the perfect companion for daily use in road traffic, on the way to school, or during outdoor activities.
The practical safety buckles allow quick donning and doffing while ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. Available in sizes XXS to S, the poncho suits children of various age groups and offers ample freedom of movement.
The colors signal yellow and signal orange are certified according to EN 17353 Type AB3 . All other colors meet the requirements of EN 17353 Type B3 and also provide increased visibility.

EN 17353 – Kleidung mit erhöhter Sichtbarkeit für mittleres Risiko
Die EN 17353 ist die europäische Norm für Kleidung mit erhöhter Sichtbarkeit. Sie richtet sich an Personen, die in Bereichen mit mittlerem Risiko arbeiten oder unterwegs sind, in denen eine bessere Erkennbarkeit wichtig ist, die Anforderungen der EN ISO 20471 jedoch nicht erforderlich sind.
Die Norm kombiniert fluoreszierende Materialien, die die Sichtbarkeit bei Tageslicht verbessern, mit retroreflektierenden Elementen, welche das Licht von Fahrzeugen oder anderen Lichtquellen bei Dunkelheit oder schlechten Sichtverhältnissen reflektieren. Je nach Einsatzbereich kann die Kleidung nur fluoreszierendes Material, nur reflektierende Elemente oder eine Kombination aus beiden enthalten.
Kleidung nach EN 17353 eignet sich unter anderem für Radfahrer, Lieferdienste, Service- und Wartungspersonal, Freizeitaktivitäten sowie Arbeiten auf Betriebsgeländen oder in Bereichen mit geringem bis mittlerem Verkehrsaufkommen. Sie erhöht die Sichtbarkeit und trägt dazu bei, das Unfallrisiko zu reduzieren.
Wichtig: EN 17353 ersetzt die EN ISO 20471 nicht. Für Arbeitsbereiche mit hohem Gefährdungspotenzial oder wenn Warnschutzbekleidung gesetzlich vorgeschrieben ist, muss weiterhin zertifizierte Warnschutzbekleidung nach EN ISO 20471 getragen werden.
